We’ve already had hundreds of British Science Week events registered with just two months to go, so thank you to everyone who has registered already. If you’ve not decided what event or activity to organise yet, then worry not… Our handy organisers’ leaflets are here to help!
There are leaflets to download whether you’re organising events in school or for an organisation. In our ‘how to guides’ section, we also have an organisers’ timeline and “Science on a Shoestring” guides that will help you get going. They show how you can do STEM activities on a small budget, using our free resources.
If you are working with younger audiences, then the British Science Association’s CREST Star activities (aimed at children aged 5 – 12) is a great starting point for group activities to do during British Science Week. They are designed to be run by any teacher, educator or youth club leader – you don’t have a science background – because each activity comes with an organisers’ card with instructions, highlighted safety points and a resource list.
Once you’ve decided what sort of event or activity to organise, then please don’t forget to register it on this website – and if your event is a public event, it will appear on our interactive map! You’ll can also request a FREE marketing pack (of posters, postcards, stickers and balloons) to help you promote and celebrate your event.
If you would prefer to attend an event, rather than organise one yourself, then search our online database for events and activities taking place near you.
