Start planning your classroom activities for British Science Week 2017 with our FREE Activity Packs based on the theme of “Change”.
This year’s theme was chosen to encourage young people to think about and investigate the changes happening in the world all around us; from seasons and climate, to materials and energy. It is also a chance for young people to consider the changes they can enact to have a positive impact on the future.
The three packs, one for Early years, one for Primary and one for Secondary, each have a variety of activities to run in your classroom, including information about what you’ll need and how to extend the activities if you’d like to take them further.
There’s something for everyone; suit your students’ needs by adapting or extending the activities if you wish.
Don’t forget about our CREST Star Awards – many of the activities can count towards CREST Star Awards. Further CREST Star resources can be downloaded for free on the CREST website.

The poster competition this year mirrors the theme of our activity packs, “Change”. There are a range of age categories – from Nursery/Reception to Years 7 – 9. Young people should do some investigation into their ideas about the theme and present them as a poster.
